- Housing: Rent-free
partially furnished apartment close to the campus

- Relocation allowance of
W40,000 per day for up to seven days. This relocation allowance is
the compensation that you will receive for arriving at Woosong
University prior to your contact start date and attending the
orientation meetings. This compensation will be paid with your first
salary payment.

- Vacation – 5 weeks (Note:
6 weeks vacation for a second year contract). Teachers are
encouraged to take 2 or
3 week vacation each summer and winter intersession. Requests for a
longer vacation of 5 weeks may be approved. Additionally, teacher
initiated unpaid vacation requests may be approved based on summer
or winter intersession scheduling requirements.

- Air fare allowance
(W300,000 following arrival and W500,000 upon contract completion)
for first year teachers. This W300,000 compensation will be paid
with your first salary payment. The W500,000 will be paid after you
finish your first contract.

- Medical / Dental:
National Health Insurance plan approximately W44,000. Teachers that
have dependents pay approximately W50,000
|
- One month's additional
salary is paid upon the completion of a second year contract.
|
- Private Pension Fund
approximately 5 percent of your salary W100,000 – 125,000 per month

- Two-year local and U.S.
tax exemption for American citizens

- Opportunities to travel
to nearby Asian nations during summer / winter vacations. Free
Korean language classes.
